The high-power GPU bays are positioned at the front of the chassis on both sides, granting them priority access to fresh air via six fans. This design is similar to its predecessor, the R750xa. Here, you can install 4x dual-width GPUs or 8x single-width inferencing GPUs.

At the rear, two risers can be used for up to four additional lower-power single-width GPUs or I/O devices. All slots are x16, enabling high-speed networking options such as 200GbE or 400GbE NICs. The rear risers support four x16 full-height, half-length cards. For GPU-dense configurations, an OCP slot is available for I/O needs.
